January 27, 2011 to January 31,2011

We went in on Thursday for Megyn's cast to be removed. Her feet were straight and looked so beautiful. I was so happy for her and for her to be free of her cast. WOW, God is good and takes care of his children. We were told to come back in a month and he will check on them and for us to stretch her feet in the mean time. Our appointment is for March 3, 2011.

Saturday, 1/29/11, Megyn started crawling. She doesn't really know what to think about it but she is crawling and it is so sweet to see her doing that.

Yesterday, 1/30/11, Megyn's right foot is turning again!!! :o(

What to do? Well it is a waiting game ... we must wait until 3/3/11 and then see what we will do. Megyn came out of her cast on Thursday but I felt as if it wasn't over and I know we still have a long road ahead of us but with God with us it will be so much easier. Please continue to pray for our sweet little Angel!

Casting ... 1/13/11

We went in for Megyn's cast changing. While in there I listened to an interpreter talk to Dr. Capehart about this little girl ... it broke my heart. This dad that could not speak English is crying trying to understand why his daughter, now 2 1/2, has needed 4 surgeries and is going to need another one. She has had 2 on the right and 2 on the left and is needing another one on the left. So please pray for this little girl and her daddy. I have no idea her name nor her fathers but I know he is hurting and that little girl is too.

Now with all this going on I was anxious about have her cast cut off and seeing if the right one was still turned. We cut them off and right away I noticed that her right foot is still turned and that the cast have not done any good and we will need another one. The story before with the little girl bruised my faith a little knowing what I prayed for may not happen ... right now ... BUT IT WILL IN DUE TIME (I felt this right away). I am so upset that she has to continue to go through this pain and that she may need another surgery but she is a strong baby and continues to thrive.

Please continue to pray for Megyn and her feet but pray for this little girl and her dad.

Changing of cast

Megyn went in on 12/30/10 to have her cast changed. Her cast had been slipping and I felt they needed changed.

Well needless to say ... MOMMA WAS RIGHT.

When they cut the cast off Megyn's feet looked great as first glance. Her left on is straight but the right (the stubborn one) is still turned as if the surgery did nothing.

They re-casted her and said to make a two week appointment and we will see what Dr. Capehart wants to do. It looks like she will need another surgery but I know God will get her through this and she will be a strong little girl.

Please continue to pray for her and feet as God continues to heal her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
